A good one to have in your back pocket

I'm Amy Richardson with Savvy Realty Group. When people visit Ahwatukee over the holidays, ZooLights is one of the first things I suggest. The photo above is from my own visit in 2021.

Dates, hours and tickets

According to the Phoenix Zoo, ZooLights runs from November 25, 2026 to January 15, 2027, nightly from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at 455 N. Galvin Parkway. One ticket is good for any single night, so you can pick the evening that suits you. General admission is $35, members are $30, and children 2 and under are free.

The zoo notes that dates and hours can change, and one page on its site shows a different end date, so confirm before you buy.

Good to know

  • Sensory Friendly ZooLights is Tuesday, December 8, with smaller crowds, quieter music and reduced flashing lights. It needs a separate ticket.
  • Photos with Santa run November 25 to December 23 for a separate fee, and the zoo takes reservations.
  • The animals: most are not visible during ZooLights, and the zoo suggests a daytime visit to see them.

If you are planning a move here and wondering about weekends, my Ahwatukee Relocation Guide is a good place to start, and I'm glad to answer questions.
