A quieter option than a big light show
I'm Amy Richardson with Savvy Realty Group. If a big light show is not your speed, Las Noches de las Luminarias is a quieter, more atmospheric evening: a walk through the Desert Botanical Garden lit by thousands of luminarias. It is one I mention to people visiting Ahwatukee from out of town.
Dates, hours and tickets
The Garden lists the 2026 nights as November 27 to 29, December 4 to 6, 11 to 13, 16 to 23, 26 to 31, and January 1 to 3, in the evening. One page gives hours of 5 to 9:30 p.m. and another says 5:30, so check when you book.
The Garden lists general adult tickets from about $39.95 to $44.95 depending on the night, and child (ages 2 to 17) tickets at $18.95, with member prices lower. Members have a weekend of their own, December 4 to 6. Advance tickets are needed, and popular nights sell out, so book early. I haven't listed the Garden's address here. It is on its ticket page.
